Even if. A thread;

Even if the world is in ruins, even if every kingdom is lying and killing, the world for us will never be torn.

Even if the darkest of clouds covers everything we’ve built and tries to succumb us in darkness, We’ll be there reminding each other that darkness isn’t the problem but the conviction that it inflicts a negative omen and impact.

We’ll be there pushing each other, both towards kingdoms to conquer.

Rains, winds, and/ or typhoons may be there slowing our pace, but we’ll be as hard as stones and as flexible as bamboos, together- stronger and passionate.

A recommending decree

Petrified by the bliss of your endearing messages,
I was there, alone in that room, looking on the mobile screen continously extending my lips sideways- smiling.
I was of no use in the world far long,
But right now, I felt I have a purpose to live for- devotion.

Another minute, I closed my eyes
mixed with doubt, fear, but above all- delight.
Few seconds, I was lost in my thoughts
Then unprecedentedly, a kiss.
Warm, doused, feral.

Smirked, can’t help but to submit
I opted to say ,
In a blink, “ssssshhh.”
There, I got a dictator on top.
Ruling the state in an absolute control.

A superstitious event just happened,
Miracle? It could be.
A wish upon a shooting star just got realized,
A wish on an 11:11 momentum.
A melody to my Beloved.

A turning point nobody imagined that could occur.
Second thoughts were gone,
Doubts? Extinguished.
Fear turned to pleasure, and
the decree extended.

A recommending decree:

they don’t love us, they’re just bored…

What went Wrong that went Far

My stomach feasts,
So much uneasiness of a daily sensation.
It was a quotidian desire-
Craving, hankering, thirstiness.
Mom? Dad?
I was answered by a deafening stillness.
Made footsteps around the mute household,
Until I got out of the main door-
There’s a commotion, somebody’s trying to cover me from seeing-
Something, NO, someone was there lying motionless.
Mom? Dad?

Omen

You’re the stars that even if at times you dissapear on my sight as you were covered by ominous white and gray masses in the skies, you’re still there, always been there.

You’re little lights shine upon me exhibiting chivalry, warm attachment, enthusiasm, and  devotion. You emit such bright thoughts upon my dark mind; lifting my soul, caressing my heart with a bang of tender contacts putting your touch and tender fingers for my safety and security. Yes you do, you make me feel safe and secured under your protection. Your little ways makes me crave for more of you. Your biggest waves makes me stumble and surrender my ground to you too.

You are a heavenly omen telling of a bright future.

Violet Hour

Louie Cristian Estrella Simbajon

What’s there to see soil eroded and broken. What’s there to feel Leaves started falling. The roots creeps, Travel the violet hour. With cries, and screams; Dry-quencing its thirst.

It can no longer distinguish stain from fértile. It can no longer dig without impediments. Proximal ends bleeds and twisted. Cried and screamed the poisoned Terrain.

Now, it peel into the shadows of darkness underneath, No moist to sip, no leaves to grow, Boughs and limbs cracks; whispers the losing of reproduction.

Mise-en-scene: The Exit L Simbajon

Three hours since crystalline hasn’t stopped falling from the sky.

Music on, fortissimo…

I was on my bed with the comfort of my bluish sheets and tender pillows;

I was looking through the misty windows

where I can barely see the gleam of the dusky neighborhood.

I felt not the conventional feeling of an existence not being recognized.

Again, I reached for the pills I had been taking for months already.

It helped me forget how rapid my pretentious play was

though my heart was torn into fragments

grotesquely covered with the antiquities of piled up tremors.

Taking the fourth pill,

My eyes slowly became the misty window

I had been looking at… crystals fell from it.

It was a sudden realization that even if I was in the comfort of my sheets

And of the tenderness of my pillows- I became my BLUISH sheet who haven’t felt the tenderness of solace atmosphere and amity.

I have always been my brightest star

even if the darkest clouds covers me.

I have always told myself to wake up from this dream,

but all I could ever do is to breathe, to consume a poisonous atmosphere

That fills my inner with promises- my shattered opening always reminisce.

Now- the twelfth pill….

Drown in the somnolence of a desolated picture of a throbbing life-

I became the misty neighborhood where my bare eyes

cannot fully anticipate the milieu of what it could FURTHER offer.

I became that vague emblem of a fading music.

A the precise representation of a depleting volume.

It was in that moment where my feet brought me

to a thirteenth step towards a crystal-like portrait hanging

on the wall

I saw a star-crossed woman looking desperately between two objects

as if these were her only choices.

One was a small sharp tool;

The other was a 5-meter long-thick string.

Then–

The last thing I saw was the ceiling; and

it felt like I was bathing with a flowing liquid from my wrist.

Though now-

it isn’t crystals of water at all.

The 24th Glance

          Mid-air

          Your presence caught mine.

          A very common fear

You may already have a beloved- spot-on, fine.

          I stumble across the bookshelves

and I frequently glance towards your direction.

          It was a well-lighted place

Your eyes twinkle and your pinkish cheeks glisten.

          Your lips

          I wanted to touch them.

I wanted to smell your breath

and feel the warmth that it exudes.

As I glance the 24th time

          Your eyes- my eyes

          The pressure of two arrows

Meeting as it had been shoot.

An extreme electric distribution pierced through my veins.

                             Goodness gracious! Did she smile?
